I purchased this pattern because I was keen to improve my skills in button placement, buttonholes and collars – all of which I need much more practice with. I love that it comes with a lot of style options, which also requires minimal paper for printing and minimal fabric for construction. I ended up making three different collars – two with stands, and one peter pan collar, all of which I love despite their flaws. Looking up Youtube tutorials for techniques on construction did help a lot as well, as I really didn’t have a lot of know-how in this area. And now I have three cute, vintage-inspired items to use in my wardrobe.
