I’m tall and muscular (I lift weights!) and my regular jeans no longer fit. I wanted to try the Peyton Jeans because of the dart shaping in the seat. I chose to make the straight leg version in dark denim with stretch and am thrilled with the results! I used 3/8 inch seams throughout, mainly so I could make sure they fit through the thighs. The only change I made was to the waistband – the curved waistband didn’t work for me because it was too tight. I removed it and made a straight waistband that fits perfectly! I love these jeans and am looking forward to making more!
The pattern was easy to put together and easy to sew, and is going to be my new favorite!
