I love my Sedona dress! This is a must-have pattern in my opinion. I love the different options for sleeves, length, hemline and styling. Pattern instructions are clear and easy to follow making some of the potential tricky sections a breeze to tackle. I will definintely make this pattern again and again.

The Sedona Shirt Dress can quickly become a wardrobe essential. This pattern has a lot of details and can be daunting if you haven’t sewn a shirt dress before, thus labelled an intermediate pattern, but slowly and steadily it can be done. This is a an enjoyable and satisfying sew, plus the fit was good for me without any alterations.

I absolutely love this pattern. I had never made a shirt dress before – I made the calf length with cuffed sleeves and the instructions made the process so simple. The end result was absolutely fantastic, and I will definitely be making more!

I loved the challenge of this pattern. It was so much fun to sew. Following each step and watching it come together to having to most beautiful finished garment. I can’t wait to make another one.

I love this pattern – a good shirt is such a wardrobe staple and this pattern offers a great classic shirt, and on top of that, you get a shirt dress with multiple length options as well!! This is definitely a pattern I will make time and time again to try out all the options 🙂

I had pretty much given up on wearing a button down shirt or dress because they always gap at the bust, but not this dress/shirt. Drafted with cup sizes and instructions for button placement rather than a one size button guide this dress fits perfectly! This wardrobe staple is good for all season, such a classic piece that never goes out of style. I promise, you need this pattern!

I love patterns with lots of little details that make it stand out. This is one of them! There are so many options to choose from, but I went with a short sleeved shirt for my first one. I did the back pleat (but will do darts instead next time), and sleeve tabs. The hidden button placket make it look a bit fancy and the instructions are excellent! I love all the options where choosing differently will make my next Sedona look like a different pattern!

I had never come across these patterns before SewMyStyle2019 and I’m very glad I did. For May button down month I chose to make the Sedona shirt and was initially bewildered by the sheer number of possible options. 5 different lengths, two sleeve options, cup sizes and loose, darted fitting options, pleated or straight back, with or without pockets…..Once I had decided on the long sleeved, loose fitting, pleat backed option I found the instructions very clear and well explained and was able to make the shirt with no difficulties. I am going to make the fitted short sleeved version next just because I know I can now. A very versatile shirt pattern. The only thing I changed was the size of the pocket flap because I thought it was out of proportion for the pocket but that’s just my personal preference. .
