Hello beautiful people! Sophie here from Vienna, Austria ‍♀️✨
No big party plans for me this year, but you better believe I’ll be twirling around my house in my Paris dress
This dress is truly a show-stopper. I made a size 4, B-cup in a gorgeous burnt-orange mystery fabric—and wow, it delivered. The sew itself is super straightforward and can easily be whipped up in just a few hours… though fair warning, she does love to devour fabric
Definitely adding this one to my list of DS favorites!

My name is Meiling and I am from Perth, Western Australia.
I made my Paris in a Premium Satin purchased from www. spotlight.com.au
I recommend going slow and ensuring you are pressing everything where you need to, taking extra care with any delicate fabric that might burn.
I made my Paris with the removable bows on straps and the 60cm skirt. I styled it with a tulle petticoat that I had as well to give it some extra ‘poofiness’.
I didn’t require any fit alterations, lucky me!
I have worn my Paris a couple of times and have received many a compliment, the feeling never gets old when someone says ‘OMG! You made that?!?’.
Definitely plans for a future make if I have any other special events popping up.

This is absolutely thé dress for every party or just wear it when you want to glow up. Putting on this dress gives you an instantly gorgeous feeling and you’ll only need a smile and go! I am the proud owner of three dresses and definately these aren’t my last. I’ve made a crinkled satin version to feel like Barbie. I’ve made a brocate version for Summerly parties and a silver and golden metal brocate for the upcoming most wonderfull time of the year ❤️ As I said already, you don’t need more then some matching shoes and have fun! Just be prepared; you’ll receive a ton of compliments wearing your new dress! When you want you can always have a look at my Insta for more inspiration: https://www.instagram.com/jongdesign

Hi I’m Stephanie and I live in Connecticut, USA. I’ve had access to the pattern for awhile and I think the Paris dress may be the most worn item in my wardrobe. I’ve made 3 so far, one in linen, one is quilters cotton, and one in a brocade. I have opted for the shorter length for all three, but have done the optional bows and belt for some of mine. It really is a simple sew and I made my standard 1″ swayback adjustment and graded for my measurements. I love the fullness of the skirt on this pattern and I can totally see myself making more! Allison F – A gorgeous bronze-gold taffeta Paris dress was made for my young adult daughter, Megan. We live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This Paris dress is made with a circle and a half circle skirt finished with matching two-inch horse hair braid found entirely by happy accident. One of the things we love about this pattern is how easy it is to make. The pattern includes cup size drafting. When making your fit the weight of a skirt is absolutely necessary to determine correct fit of the dress.
Megan preferred the longer length dress which flatters her as she is very tall. Dress still required a significant sway back adjustment as she is also very high waisted. Biggest recommendation is take the time to make a fit dress.
Megan has worn this dress several times. She has received many compliments. She pairs it with gold spark heels. In the photo she is wearing it over a modified Sedona top (also a Designer Stitch pattern) made from a Georgette. For another event, she wore it with a brocade bolero. No matter how she has worn her Paris dress it is truly a spectacular dress from an amazing pattern!

I’m Fromut from Germany! I made my Paris dress out of some beautiful red linen Fabric from Kattun Stoffe. I made the tea length version and absolutely love how it turned out. It was my first time installing horse hair braid on a hem and it made the skirt fall so beautifully. I moved the front and back straps inwards slightly as I had some gaping here. No other fit alterations were necessary. I haven’t worn my Paris dress out yet as I am saving it for Christmas, but I feel so fancy wearing it and can’t wait to show it off on Christmas eve. I am also planning another version for an upcoming wedding next year. This was such a satisfying and fast sew and a gorgeous dress!
