Then relax with the Week End Kat that has the same easy fit
as the Kat Week Day but has a more relaxed shell with the fit of an
extended shoulder line giving a more casual look.

The Kat Top was initially designed for a soft woven fabric but can easily be constructed in a soft jersey knit (with good recovery).
The construction of the Kat is recommended for very advanced beginners to intermediate levels due to:
- Double turn neck binding
- Set in Sleeves.

- Easy fit shell with set-in short sleeves.
- Slightly curved and very flattering hem.
- Self fabric bound neckline.

This will be my go-to woven pattern. Nice proportions and not at all boxy. I’m short and busty so I did a dartless fba and shortened the armholes. There was a problem with the link in the pattern to the neckline tutorial and I had trouble with the neckline, but I winged it and it worked out. Looking forward to making another kat top and trying some other patterns!
