The new Anais Dress sewing pattern has the ability to flatter and accentuate the female figure.
The peplum silhouette creates a defined waistline and adds volume to the hips, creating an hourglass shape that is universally flattering.
Whether you have an hourglass figure, a pear shape, or an apple shape, a peplum dress can help to enhance your natural curves and create a more balanced and proportionate look.
The Anais offers many customable options.

- Self Fabric Tie Belt
- Can be made as Full Dress or Separates (Bodice and Skirt)
The Anais Dress is also versatile for different occasions as the peplum silhouette adds a touch of femininity and elegance to any outfit.
The Anais Dress is recommended for Very Advanced and Experienced Beginners and Above sewing level due to:
- Moderate to Advanced fitting knowledge is needed.
- Ability to deal with slippery jersey fabrics and double turn binding.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Jersey knit fabrics – approx weight of 175 gsm – with some degree of drape are BEST with at least 50% stretch across and 25% stretch going down the fabric.
- Rayon and Rayon Jersey types
- Wool and Wool Jersey types
Composition – Main 95% with 5% Spandex.
