Michelle Caldwell-Shaw (verified owner) –
I have been looking for a shell top that actually fits.
I initially moved the dart upwards by 2.5cm then just before i cut out I put it back. I made it out of some left over cotton fabric from a skirt.
the top fits perfectly and now I have a matching black with white spots skirt (made to go with a white top/jacket for Derby Day at the races) and top.
will now use this pattern to make up a white silk top that I intend to add some pearl and feather detail – from an image of one I saw on a french fashion shoot.
