Our new Meiling Cotton Sateen Dress – based on our NEW stretch woven dress block – is beautifully tailored classic dress and offers a sleek modern look.

Made in a woven stretch cotton sateen this versatile piece flexes with you as the stretch in the fabric helps you flaunt your gorgeous body shape.

The Meiling offers a very flattering square neckline, darts for concise body shaping, side slant pockets in the skirt and to-die-for sleeves with fabulous pleat detail.

Make the Meiling with its invisible zipper method or make with an exposed metallic zipper for that extra WOW factor.

Team this Meiling dress with stockings and boots on a colder day or simple heels for a sleek, modern spring/summer look.

The Meiling Dress offers a choice of styling options:

• Full Length Sleeve
• ¾’s Length Sleeve
• Elbow Length Sleeve
• Skirt/Body lengths – 55cms (21 1/2″) or 60 cms (23 1/2″)

All of the above styles are completed with:

• Self Fabric Tie Belt with Piped Edge
• Exposed Metallic Zipper / Invisible Zipper
• Pleated Square Shoulder Sleeves.

The Meiling Dress is recommended for Very Advanced and Experienced Beginners and Above sewing level due to:

• Zipper Insertion – Invisible or Exposed
• Piping Insertion

PATTERN OPTIONS

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS.

Woven stretch with fibre content of 97% main with 3% spandex at approx 200 – 220 gsm.

Fabric must be purchased with this fibre content. It is not about how much you can “stretch” the fabric.
It must have this spandex content due to the fit block it is based on.
