Rylie Shirt Sewing Pattern (PDF)

The Rylie is a design that offers 3 styling options.

Option 1 is a trend influence. The front has a drawstring inserted to allow the body to be drawn to create gorgeous
draping and held with left side ties. Such a huge fashion influence currently.

Option 2 uses the elements of the pattern to create a traditional soft tailoring look.

Option 3 is another trend influence. Voluminous pleated bishop sleeve into a separate sleeve head back into a lower cuff.

All of the above styles are completed with:

• Standard Placket
• (or)Tailored Placket
• 2 Piece Shirt Collar
• Cuffs (sleeve)

The Rylie Shirt is recommended for Very Advanced and Experienced Beginners and Above sewing level due to:

Moderate to Advanced fitting knowledge is needed.
Application of a 2-piece shirt collar and cuffs.

 

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

Light Weight Dress Fabrics that drape and gather well.

• Poplin or Poplin types
• Other Light weight Cotton types
• Linen and Linen Types
• Challis or Challis types
