The Chelsea Cardigan is truly a trans-seasonal garment.
Offering 3 distinct lengths the Chelsea can be worn as a short funky high hip cardy – or its modern and classy thigh length version – or the very on-trend calf length that can be worn with jeans, dresses or even with your sparkly party clothes.
The construction of the Chelsea Cardigan is recommended for advanced beginner/intermediate levels due to:
- Easy Collar application
- Twin needle top-stitching
- A very good knowledge of your own personal fitting requirements as the pattern offers the opportunity to fine-tune the fit of your garment

The Chelsea Cardigan is the perfect layering piece for all seasons, fabric will dictate functionality. It’s a great fit, it’s loose but not over sized and with optional pockets you can’t go wrong.

The Chelsea Cardigan is a lovely style with options to wear with everything. I love the different looks depending on fabric; some look more coat-like. The fit is just right and I will be sewing another during the sew along to try the easy way to sew the collar.

The pattern was true to measurements and came together beautifully! There are multiple styles/looks that I can achieve with the various options offered in the pattern. I can’t wait to make my next version!
